smileythatsme is a brand created by San Diego-based artist and graphic designer Kaelyn Harbison. A lover of thought and creativity, she finds herself at peace when she is writing, drawing and designing. Her style is drawn towards the abstract and demonstrates a balance of playfulness and poise.

 

She found her love for art at an early age. She was always the go to for any artistic needs in the family, especially home-made cards. Coming from an athletic family she has been an athlete pretty much her
entire life. That's where her natural competitiveness
and work ethic comes from. As her dad would say,
" there's an art to sports." She was able to experience the best of both worlds by attending Academy of
Art University, where she received her BFA in Graphic Design and competed as a collegiate Track and
XC athlete. By doing so she gained valuable skills
and experiences which helped shape her small
business today.
